La Ferme Gite at Chauffour

La Ferme gite is a fantastic 17th century farmhouse which offers versatile accommodation and can sleep up to 12 in comfort; perfect for groups, families with children or a couple of families sharing.

It is packed full of original features such as the beautiful oak staircase and a huge open fireplace.

On the ground floor we have a large kitchen, perfect for self catering, with dishwasher, fridge, microwave, double oven and hob. There is also a wonderfully spacious lounge and separate dining room with seating for up to 12. Both rooms have french doors leading onto the terrace.

There is also a large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower.

On the first floor we have 3 fantastic double bedrooms, two of which can accommodate a cot or child bed, and a shower room with toilet - on the second floor we have two twin rooms ideal for the children with a further bathroom.

All of our guests have access to the fenced 12m x 6m (39ft x 19ft) swimming pool, complete with safety ledge for less confident swimmers.

The pool area is being renovated for 2010 including decking around the pool and a covered terrace area.

If you're feeling more energetic, there is table tennis, badminton or boules in the garden and bikes, tennis rackets, and golf clubs (1 set mens, 1 set ladies) are also available. And, if you can pull yourself away from all of this you can explore the Perigord Vert, a beautiful region of the Dordogne and south west France.

For a really relaxing gite vacation we can offer Dinner on Arrival anytime during your stay and Pizza and Dining Club Events.

If you are a group larger than 12 you can rent La Ferme gite and La Grange gite together during July and August and have exclusive use of the pool.
