Family Friendly Gite Holidays

With two young children of our own, we understand the needs of families on holiday. Not only are children very welcome at Chauffour, we have tried to think of everything to ensure all you need is at hand.

We offer a Dinner on Arrival service and provide a welcome pack so that you don't have to tackle the supermarket with the children after travelling all day.

We also hold Pizza Nights and provide Sunday Lunches to help ensure that every one gets to have a good holiday!

We have a selection of bikes and helmets for most ages and can advise on the best cycle routes to suit your ability.

France is a nation of cyclists and there are some lovely cycle routes near Chauffour Gites, especially down by the river where you cool down with a swim and enjoy a go on the rope swing - if you're brave enough!!!

The Dordogne is famous for its river (amongst other things). So, why not organise an afternoon or a whole day canoeing on the river with our canoe, complete with lifejackets for the children.

For teenagers who are "bored" you can arrange for Malcolm to take them out in the canoe or for a cycle ride so that you can enjoy some quality time together - please contact us for more information.  Both of us are CRB cleared to work with children.
