Chauffour is a beautiful large 17th century farmhouse full of charm and original features set in the beautiful Dordogne, France. Alongside the farmhouse (La Ferme) we also have the delightful 3 bedroom Le Grange, the 2 bedroom La Porcherie and the 4 bedroom La Petite Maison. All of our properties are set in pretty, mature gardens with a swimming pool.
Chauffour is in a peaceful hamlet and surrounded by gently rolling hills, sunflower fields and vineyards and just a few minutes away are the villages of Allemans and St. Severin where you will find bakeries, banks, post office and a supermarket. The bustling market town of Riberac, famed for its huge Friday market, is just 10 minutes away.
We are approximately 1 hour from Angouleme and Bergerac, 1.5 hours from Bordeaux, 2 hours from Limoges and the new airport at Brive which is due to open shortly, is also within easy reach. Ryanair, Easyjet and Flybe all offer low cost flights from the UK, and Air France and Aer Lingus offer flights from Dublin, Ireland into Bordeaux. The ferry ports of St. Malo and Caen are all within a comfortable days drive making Chauffour ideally placed for your holiday in the Dordogne.
